I’m Jessica and I came from Singapore, a sunny island with occasional thunder and rain.
I actually completed my Bachelor of Science (Microbiology) in The National University of Singapore and after much consideration, decided to do my Honours course in UNSW, Sydney. As a result, I got myself a dynamic and dedicated supervisor, Dr Kathy Takayama and also got myself into an exciting project, Visualising the Science of Genomics (VSG).
My focus will be to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of VSG in scientific inquiry-based teaching and learning. I am all geared up for the much anticipated journey in VSG and I look forward to having a memorable process of learning with all of you.
